Farmington police arrest 50 Cent employee at star's mansion

FARMINGTON, Conn. - Farmington police say they have arrested an employee of hip-hop artist 50 Cent at the rapper's mansion for allegedly attacking a woman.

Police say 27-year-old Dwayne McKenzie was arrested Tuesday after getting a call from the 22-year-old New Britain woman.

Police say McKenzie choked the woman and struck her with a belt during an argument on the rap superstar's property.

McKenzie has been was charged with assault, strangulation, breach of peace and unlawful restraint.

Court records show McKenzie was already on conditional discharge stemming from an arrest in Hartford for allegedly pistol-whipping a nightclub promoter.

He has been released after posting $10,000 bond and is due back in court July 15.
